Rania Khan
I started my Yoga training in 2000 as a Hatha/ Iyengar student and received my teaching certificate in Iyengar Yoga in Boston, MA. While living in Boston, I also explored other forms of Yoga such as Vinyasa, Kundalini, Sivananda and Power Yoga. I have been inspired during workshops and retreats with Seane Corn, Jonny Kest, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, and Swami Vishnu Sivananda. My diverse experiences have helped to create my unique style of practice--I fuse many different syles of traditional Yoga into my classes. My passion for Yoga stems from my continuing interest and study in oriental medicine and acupuncture. I have also spent time as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, triathlete, runner and collegiate swimmer. I am currently in the midst of my clinical training to become an osteopathic physician where I hope to continue to use Yoga as a way of healing for myself and my patients.
